The Bilingual Tea Ceremony Kit

Five documents that between them answer every question a guest or a family member will have about your tea ceremony — written once, in both languages, by you.

You type your names, date and venue once. Every document fills in. Then you edit any wording you want to change, in either language, and see exactly how it will look.

All of that is free. You only pay when you want the finished files — clean, print-ready, no watermark. Nothing is locked while you are still deciding whether this suits your wedding.

What you get

1 · Invitation

Names, date, venue, how to reply, and your line about gifts. A photo of the two of you, your parents’ names and a “Dear …” line for one guest are there if you want them. The piece guests actually receive — as a file to print, or an image to send in a chat.

2 · Ceremony guide

What a tea ceremony is and why you are holding one, for the guests who have never seen one. Written to be read before the day, not during it.

3 · Guest FAQ

What to wear, whether to bring anything, what will happen, who to contact. The six questions that otherwise arrive as six separate messages.

4 · Timeline card

The running order with your own times and activities, up to eight entries. One copy for the host, one for whoever is coordinating the room.

5 · Host script

What the host says, in both languages, with stage directions for where to pause and where to invite the next family up. Set in large type, because it is read aloud standing up.

Every word is editable. The wording is a starting point for your family, not a ruling on how a Chinese wedding should be done. Change it, and have your family read it before you send anything.

How it works

  1. Fill in your details once. Names in both languages, date, time, venue, how guests should reply.
  2. Edit the wording. Each language edits independently, so changing the English does not overwrite a Chinese line you have already perfected.
  3. Show it to your family. Preview every page at full size, free, for as long as you need.
  4. Take the files when you are ready. One payment unlocks clean, print-resolution downloads in every format.

Printing them

There is no posting service here. You get files, and what you do with them is yours to decide — a home printer, a local print shop, or nothing at all if you are sending the invitation in a chat.

The paid files are set up for that: PDF at A4 and Letter, print resolution, and a layout that still reads correctly if your printer is black and white. The invitation and the timeline card can also print two to a sheet, with a cut line down the middle.

What it is not

  • Not a subscription. One payment, and the documents are yours.
  • Not a printing or posting service. You export files; nothing is mailed.
  • Not an authority on Chinese custom. It gives you something to edit, not something to obey.
  • Not a cloud account. What you type stays in your browser. Saving a draft writes to your own device or a file you keep.
